Forgotten Kodama: The Seed of Life

The tree of life has been destroyed, the dark powers relax so it’s time to do something with it. Set off into this 3D puzzle, action game and save the whole world. All is in very original “flower spirit”.

Long epic opening is behind you and you walk into a dark temple. You control a guy called Uzume and there is need for jumping, fighting and solving few puzzles. Basically, the whole game is well balanced mix of all these three styles. Jump over platforms and pitfalls, beat some dark enemies and solve riddles with closed doors. The fighting system is great. You can use combos, throw the enemies into the air to hit another enemy. The skill of the main hero to turn into a flower was really nice surprise. Using this shape, you can walk on walls and get to hard reached places. It looks great but the camera isn’t the best.
