The space is cold and hostile once again, especially for you space-shuttle. You have to destroy hundreds of enemies and deal with huge bosses. Can SHMUP surprise? Luckily yes. It's one well-made and long flash game. The levels are separated on several planets or places in the space which are then more separated into sectors. When not fighting, you can buy better equipment. The difficulty seems to be higher thanks big number of the enemies appearing behind your back.
