While Prescott with Ophelia tries to stand against danger in train, Dr. MacDermoth goes to his friend that send him a letter. After arriving he find that his longyear friend didn't send him any letter, because he didn't even know that he is ni England now. Gregor tolds him about strange events that take place around them in London. Dr. Smith listen carefully and then offers him a help. When he finally appear again, he looks quite strange.
