When you rich the winning position new tracks get unlocked plus you get some dollars for shopping. It's nor problem to get rich at the first track and then buy many things. The upgrades stay with the new vehicle. The racing is quite arcade style so you drive, use nitro, earn nitro and win. The tracks get more difficult and the same thing keeps with the opponents.
