The Journey Down: Over the Edge

If something get a 90 % rating, it must be really a masterpiece game. I even hesitated to give it pure gold. If you like adventure games, keep on reading, if you don't, then try it and I guarantee you'll love it.
Many of us still remember old point and click adventure games. There are nowadays many clones of old classics. I have stumbled upon this game by coincidence and found a jackpot. The plot is simple. You take on a role of human named Bwana and with your buddy Kito dive into suspense, action and intrigue. I don't like to spoil it, so that is enough of the plot. Graphics is slightly retro, according to free-ware standards it is fine quality. A ton of text awaits, sometimes fun, sometimes puzzles. Naturally an adventure game need objects. You find them here, not too many, just the right number. What amazes me is the length of game-play. It takes at least a couple of hours, of course if you wouldn't use any aid. A slight minus I must give to this game for it is divided into episodes. I honestly recommend this game. Enjoy.
