Bubble Witch 2 Saga

It’s maybe a bit late but we finally have a review for Bubble Witch 2 Saga here. It’s really the sequel of legendary Facebook game which has gained millions players and fans. So how does the number two do?

Immediately, after the launch, the players who have played the first game will see a big difference. The graphic style has been changed a lot, maybe to follow the trends. Forget the “dark” part of the first game, no old witches but a young one arrives and she may remind you more an older sister than some ugly old women. The core of the game hasn’t changed much, or has it?



Bubble Witch 2 Saga is again about destroying bubbles appearing all round the place and you shoot other bubbles to match them with the right color and type. Bonus modes and final rewards are given for successful play and so you are able to progress. But the game has moved into even more casual difficulty and content world. Ok, there are hundreds of levels and they can last pretty long but the challenge doesn’t feel to be as in the first game. The game is bare bone only offering to play levels as they go and typical shop to buy power ups and bonuses. Personally I don’t mind it too much but the publisher King can do much more and better.

The technical side, art feeling and audio are positive in the end. All works as should and after the first shock from the changes the players get used to it pretty well. Different goals in the levels don’t try to act originally and they offer the fine standard and breaking some routine. But I warn you, the game isn’t for hardcore match-3 players and the original fans of the game may forget about this sequel very quickly.
