Baseball Superstars: The League
As I was exploring the deeper layers of the game I was getting more caught in the perfect gameplay. The game can be described as small city building, where you train your team, build structures to earn some money and, more interesting, play baseball matches.
You can immediately choose from playing a match against friends, any player of the game, tournament or you just train “homeruns”. The match itself is fully automatic but in the beginning of the game, you decide how much you want to get involved (may have changed). I couldn’t find it later so it can be dismissed. But in my game, I was allowed to throw the balls and try to hit them in the most important moments of a match.
The control of the pitcher is very simple. You choose from the type of throw and place where the ball should go. When you change the position and you get possibility to hit the ball the whole thing is then even easier. Choose from two types of “swing” and if the ball gets into play you can control the running players.
The part, when skills of your players are taken into account, can truly decide a match. Their stamina, strength, speed or moral number influence the game and your chance of winning.
The training may improve your team but here a big advantage of paying players appears. They can but much better players or bonus items to radically improve their chances. But it may happen that the much weaker player wins over stronger team.
When you summarize all the facts and content you get hugely catchy and entertaining game. Every single match was fun for me no matter if I won or lost and the homeruns training is enjoyable as well. The energy limit is high letting you play six or more games in a row.
