08.11.2011The game Angry Birds has become such a phenomenon after short time. Only some people haven’t tried it and there is probably no one who has never heard about it. CEO Pete Vesterbacka from Rovio company appeared at a conference in Helsinki and announced that the Angry Birds have reached 500 million downloads. This count in different versions as Rio but this achievement can be described only by one word – WOW.

The servers, mainly in the USA, are under heavy test and go down very quickly. Apologizes were send and the team tries to solve the problems.

MMO LEGO Universe končí!

07.11.2011One very original fun, not only for kids, Lego Universe ends and closes its server on January 31, 2012. The main reason is low number of paying players despite the huge popularity of the F2P version. This means end for Play Well Studios and losing job for 115 employees. Very sad news.

Gameforge says goodbye to 100 people

07.11.2011The numbers are huge. The whole 20 percent of the staff, that means 100 people, are leaving the company. Web browser action games Hellbreed and Mythos are going to be shut down. However, there are other publishers who keep the games. The next shock is thought about dismissing the development of Star Trek: Infinite Space.
