GAME SYSTEM

:: BLOOD GUAGE ::

            Every time you successfully kill living enemies with normal attack, you’ll drain blood from them and collect them to your blood guage. The number right next to the guage will show the percentage in number. Blood guage will be used to perform Crimson Move, Parry or Blood Trade for power up or a blood pack.

            However, you don’t have to kill the boss with normal attack to drain blood from them. Killing bosses with normal attack will turn their bullets into silver coins, which worth 500 points.

            Also, you won’t be able to drain blood from non-living enemies. But you’ll get silver coins from them instead.

:: CRIMSON MOVE ::

            Each character has herown special crimson move. Once you kill an enemy with crimson move, you won’t get to drain blood from your enemies. However, all the bullets fired from those enemies will be turn into golden coins, which worth 1,000 point each. It’s also a great way to decrease the number of bullets on the screen. However, you need blood guage to perform crimson move, the percentage needed differs for each character.

:: CRIMSON DRIVE ::

            Each character has herown special crimson drive. Crimson Drive need at least one blood pack to perform. Once activated, you will be invincible for a  short period of time. Also, any bullets that get hit by crimson drive will be turned into ‘crimson coin’ , which worth 1,000 point each. However, crimson coin has much more multiplier rating with thrill guage than any other coins.

            Please note that your thrill guage will become 0% after using crimson drive.

:: THRILL GUAGE ::

            This is the green guage located below the blood guage. It indicates how much your character feeling exciting with the situation right now. Every 25% of thrill guage will increase the amount of points and blood you gain. These are the ways to increase thrill guage.

  • Drain blood from enemies : Gain little
  • Graze enemies bullets : Gain very little
  • Parry enemies bullets : Gain a lot.

Thrill guage bonus works as the following

  • For every 25%, your “thrill rate” will increase by 0.25. Any score gained except from crimson coin will be multiplied by (1 + “thrill rate”)
  • For crimson coins, the score will be multiplied by (2 + “thrill rate”)

:: PARRY ::

            If you stop normal attacking and press J ( or attack) just before enemies bullets hit you, your character will strengthen her hip muscle and destroy the bullets along with the other bullets nearby. This is a very useful technique since it allows you to escape from some tight situation along with increasing your thrill guage.

            Parry need 5% blood guage to perform. Also, parry duration depends on the characters. Parry also give you 10,000 point bonus if success.

:: BLOOD TRADE ::

            Blood trade can give you two bonuses. First, it power ups your weapon. Second, it give you an extra blood pack for you to use crimson drive. The different of two trading are as follows:

·        Press “I” while you are attacking

This will power up your weapon. The percentage of blood guage needed to do this is show under your “WEAPON LV.”

·        Press “I” while you  ARE NOT attacking

This will increase the number of your blood pack by 1. Consume 100% of your blood guage.

:: PERFECT KILL ::

When fight against middle bosses or stage bosses, if you can beat that pattern without losing any lives or using crimson drive, you’ll get a PERFECT KILL BONUS. All score you gain from this pattern will be multiplied by the number of your blood pack plus one. This is multiplied after calculated with the thrill guage bonus. Also, the coins that you get from boss bullets will be upgraded by one level. That is , if you kill the boss by normal attack, you’ll get golden coins. But if you kill them with crimson move, you’ll get crimson coin without having to use crimson drive!

:: EXTEND ::

            You’ll get an extra life once your score reach the following goal

·        10 million points

·        20 million points

·        40 million points

·        60 million points

·        100 million points
