1. System Reqs, how to install/run game
---------------------------------------------
Requires a system running windows.
Recommended minimum system specifications are:
	300 Mhz
	64 Mb Ram
	8 mb graphics card
about 4-6 mb of free harddrive

1. Unzip the file by using winrar/winzip or other extractor.
2. Run settings.exe and choose if you want fullscreen or not.
3. Double click the pete.exe file and you're set to go!

---------------------------------------------
2. Controls
---------------------------------------------
Default controls are:
Move - Arrow keys
Jump - Shift
Hit - Ctrl
Super Swipe (requires the powerup) - hold Ctrl and then release when fully charged.

Saving is done automatically after each level. Only one save slot is available so starting a new game when a save already exists overwrites the old one.

To change to joystick/gamepad press CTRL+Y at anytime. You can also remap the keyboard controls there. Will not work on the drum level!

Keys on the drum level are A, S, K and L on the keyboard.

3. Story
---------------------------------------------
Suddenly a timevortex appears in Pete's livingroom when he is watching tv. The mysterious vortex swallows Pete's remote control. The thought of having to actually go to the tv to change the channel proves unbearable for Pete so he takes his sword and jumps into the vortex determined to get the controller back. Now lost in time Pete searches...

---------------------------------------------
4. Gameplay
---------------------------------------------
This is a linear adventure platformer not to be taken to seriously. Might contain slight vulgar language. The game saves automatically after each level.

*The graphics looks messed up.
-Try enabling DirectX by making a shortcut to the pete.exe file and add /DDRAW as a parameter. You could also use "Run" under the windows start menu and select the pete.exe file and adding the /DDRAW parameter there.
