News January 28th PPC TTD has been updated to OpenTTD revision 3397. This is a huge update to PPC TTD! New features include: - The 640x480 TTD native screen resolution is kept intact on both the 480x640 Hi-Res PPC, and the regular 240x320 resolution PPC. To accomplish this, on the Hi-Res PPC the screen is simply rotated. On the regular PPC, the screen becomes a "viewport" and you can scroll around the 640x480 screen by tapping the edge's of the PPC screen. - PPC TTD now supports PPC's running Windows CE 2002! - PPC TTD has been updated to the latest stable revision of OpenTTD. This means much smoother gameplay, and all the new features of the awesome OpenTTD developers! - With the first feature mentioned, this means no more worrying about windows within the game being the wrong size for the PPC. - True Hi-Res support. Enjoy all the benefits of a true 640x480 game.

About: PPC TTD is a port of OpenTTD to the PocketPC. It runs on Windows CE 2002 and WM2003. OpenTTD is a modification to the original Transport Tycoon Deluxe source code. For more information on OpenTTD check them out at http://www.openttd.org ...As OpenTTD is being updated on a daily basis, so is PPC TTD. You can tell what revision, and it's date, PPC TTD is based on by looking at the top of this readme. PPC TTD strives to keep the gameplay as true to OpenTTD/TTD as possible. Maybe even a little better. ;)

PPC TTD Requirements: Installation: #1 Unzip ppcttd.zip downloaded from www.esoftinteractive.com/openttd.html #2 The following files are needed from the original (DOS or preferably Windows) Transport Tycoon Deluxe game in order to play: trg1r.grf from Windows TTD or trg1.grf from DOS TTD trgcr.grf from Windows TTD or trgc.grf from DOS TTD trghr.grf from Windows TTD or trgh.grf from DOS TTD trgir.grf from Windows TTD or trgi.grf from DOS TTD trgtr.grf from Windows TTD or trgt.grf from DOS TTD sample.cat Place the above files in the "data" folder inside the PPCTTD directory that can be found where you unzipped PPC TTD to. The data directory will have a file "DATA_FILES_GO_HERE" inside it. Place gm_ttXX.gm files ("XX" is 00 to 21) in the "gm" folder. The gm directory will have a file "MUSIC_FILES_GO_HERE" inside it. The GRF files are for graphics, sample.cat for sounds. GM files are for MIDI music. These files are required. #3 Copy the PPCTTD folder to your PocketPC or storage card. #4 Use your PocketPC's file manager (such as "File Explorer") and run PPCTTD.exe in the PPCTTD directory you copied. Notes: You may unzip/place PPC TTD anywhere on your PocketPC including a storage card. Keep in mind PPC TTD requires gx.dll (GAPI). This file was most likely preinstalled on your PPC, but if it wasn't, you can get the latest GAPI gx.dll at www.microsoft.com. Enjoy the game!
