There aren't many free games which are good like commercial titles. The Terep 2 - Deformers can fall in between them. It looks like the game Insane, it isn't better, but has one big positive - is freeware.

1nsane was the successor of this game. It was meant to be called "off the road" but the title was changed. Played terep2 waaay to much in the 90´s... Me and my friends used to make our own tracks in paintshop/photoshop (yes you can do that, look at the three image files in the game folder).
