In basic mode it's modest, but ugly and text are unreadable. But emulator contains some sort of optimalization (in a few levels of quality) that sharpen the screen and return to all texts normal fonts. But this can make older mobile phones slower because of high requirements. But it's easy to get over it, so the only bigger problem is that vNes is trial version only.
